Anglesey circuit information update

CIRCUIT RECONFIGURATION

You may be aware that for some time there have been plans to reconfigure the circuit here at Anglesey. Preliminary earthworks began some weeks ago outwith the current operational boundaries, however, the contractors will shortly be required to commence works within the actual circuit area itself.

The reconfiguration programme is scheduled to be completed by mid-May 2007 and is a most significant development in motorsport facilities and is probably one of the most creative circuit advancements ever undertaken. The new Circuit will feature 4 different configurations; Club, National, Coastal & GP. The GP circuit will be able to cater for a variety of major motorsport events.

Some circuit events have been re-scheduled and others cancelled. The full list of events prior to the complete close down of the circuit on 2nd October is as follows :-

Here's looking forward to an awesome season on the North Wales coast next year guys :muhaha: :muhaha: :driving:

I will keep you all posted as I find out more......

An update on the new circuit guys n girls :muhaha:

Spoke to Anglesey circuit today re- the RSE Jap performance photo shoot and found out some juicy info

ATM there is no track, it's all dug up and nothing but mud....... Waggy would feel at home  right now!

Although there is no school as such :muhaha: its gonna be so much fun

There is going to be 4 individual circuits, all of which will be run at different times, there for making it even more fun.....they range from 1.4 miles to around 2.2 miles ......this is all by memory mind so don't shoot me if I get a little wrong

One of the corners is due to have a 10 degree bank on it too and the whole track will be resurfaced 8)

Will keep you all updated as and when I find out more.......RSE are going to be there soon enough so you can bet you'll have first hand info of whats going on

Keep an eye out for our North Wales track events next year they are sure to be great weekends away :muhaha:

We were watch race & rally uk the other week and the comentator slipped up and I believe they are taking the harpin and Radar complex away to make way for the new improved track.

Then again we could be wrong and the comentator may have been talking rubbish, but he did stop in his tracks and tried changing the subject rather quickly

So they're basically removing the best (most challenging) part of the track??
