Barkston heath trackday sun august 6th

Just testing the water here to see if there is enough interest in this to make it work.

javelin motorsport have a trackday on the date above at barkston heath which is just N/E of grantham lincs.its an old airfield but apparently it has a good surface and plenty of run off on some corners.It will be an open pit lane format and the price is £89 for the day so it wont break the bank either.

I have just spoken to colin at javelin about how the day runs and apparently it is run on a sprint stile basis,cars leave the pit lane evry 30 seconds to gap the cars out on track then when you have compleated a lap you will come to a split which you can either come back into the pits or carry on for another lap and so on.the surface is exellent tarmac which they are now runing formula 2 cars on so it must be good.Also this would be an exellent place for any of you trackday virgins as there is room for error in most places.IE theres some grass when you have run out of tarmac
It would be nice to make this work as javelin have offered to try and do us a little deal on some other trackdays throughout the year

i am very interested looks like quite an easy track to break the old trackday legs wont know where im working til closer to the date though as i might be away from home
