Forum MYSQL Speed enhancing or tweaking.

I would recommend that you have a look at the MYSQL server response time on your server and slowly remove or lower the load of your forum pages ie optimize images to a lower quality without noticing the effects, optimize your code a little the smaller the page the less load on your web server also look for modifications to improve your mysql connection. Possibly connect to myphpadmin and optimize your sql tables this is easily done and can increase the forum speed.
