Memory lane, the best car I ever owned...

Had this from new, back in '99, JDM import Evo VI GSR and what a car it was!.
Owned it longer than I've owned any other car, but after 3 years thought it was time for a change (mistake).
When it left my possesion it still looked like it did the day it left the factory, oh, except for rally style mudflaps, Blitz exhaust and a couple of other tasty bits.
Went to a nice chap from Oxford IIRC, who then sold it on.
Next thing was a shocker, saw some photos of it on a forum, just bits of twisted metal. Apparently somehow somersaulted over a central barrier

It's a real shame when things like this happen.

We felt the same when we sold the series 1 rs no custom. Been in the family since it was 6 months old. Money was no object for what ever was needed.

We sold it when our daughter came along and the insurance went sky high. Then went to a drug dealer (unknown to us) and was a marked car from then onwards.

A friend of ours bought it a few years ago and tried to restore it back to how we kept it, got offered it back about 18 months ago. After it's history no thanks. Last time we spoke to the lad who was restoring it he found out the history after 1998 he sold it on, with a big whole in his pocket.
