oil cap

ive recently bought this on ebay to jazz up rocker cover a little bit... but when i put in on it dosent seem to fit very well as you can slide it from one side to the other... just wondered if any one else as bought one and had same problem.....

Yeah, I got one as well, just dumped about a litre of oil all over the engine a few weeks ago!!! be warned!, think the problem was the clasp underneath slipping, making it look like it was tight.....

cheers for that pal think going to take off. dont fancy cleaning a litre of oil of the yellow paint work. will save for shows etc. will be sending seller on ebay a :x email...

I thought about buying one until I met kennyp at Tinas place. He had the same problem, a bad fit and oil leaking out.

I bought one of these bad boys and fitted it and found that it moved from side to side. I soon removed it when I found oil seaping out past it.

original was soon put back on

My original one was leaking pritty bad so i got me one of them. It does slide about abit but have had it now for over 6 months and not one drop has got past it well happy with it. Keep it on there Karl and keep a close eye on it. Keep the spare original one in the car just in case

ah i remember that chance meeting well my friend

yeah the 1 i got did leak a little

have tightened up the screw underneath and it now seems to be ok

not bad under bonnet bling for the price tho 8) 8)
