Cheers Glen
Its similar to the V8 supercars. The cops use the HSV's now. tuned 5.8L. Mad! Plus they carry guns...... sum trip!
One of me mates was in highway patrol.... took me out one night, met one of his mates also a copper in a wrx, junction to junction on the freeway, wrx was away and gone! Took sum catching but we did it in the end, went past him like he was standing still! My m8, no names mentioned, rekoned the unmarked ones go better cause no lights on the roof!
I think that was the fastest Ive ever been!

Shitmesen!

Just one more then. Showing me age now!

Heres one of my very first Holden 1964 EH
Used to chuck me board in the back, stickin half out the window & head up and down the coast surfin! ahhhh them was the days!
Factory fitted power steering prototype in those days, plus it had a bathurst 4 sp auto, even origional push button am radio, until i put a clarion in the glove box, OE venitian blind, was a rare & unique example. Was funny to drive, youd just blip the throttle and spin the wheels! Lost it loads in the wet!
Just what every 18yo kid wants over there! an Old Holden!

Cheers Pete :muhaha:

Guilty as charged! Just got it to run about as a nipper. Was almost given to me, so cant complain, needed fixing as usual, after that I was on GSXR 750 and then the 1100. And still alive to tell the tale!
Ahhhhh its all good fun!
