I love to locate places and check on other countries. It's really great that even the landmarks are so distinguished that you can easily locate places and addresses.
Not sure about that, but I know that if you have google maps and something they have installed on your cell it will triangulate the position of where you are within a little bit.
Google Earth is an awesome program! I didn't even hear about it until I ended up taking Astronomy. My professor is a fan of Google Earth, and it really is impressive to be able to see not just the earth but the stars as well.
I need to give this a go. We've been long time fans of Google earth. I love how it pans out and zooms in. It's also slightly disconcerting to wonder who else is looking at my roof. I should put an ad up there and charge GE for it!
Did you know you can also make the picture semi-horizontal so you aren't just looking at the roof but kind of at a maybe 80 degree angle. It's bloody marvellous.
It sorts of begs the question that with all this technology so freely and easily available, what tools do the government agencies have that are uber-secret, to watch my every move. And just having them is one thing, but how are they using them?
