Watch out on the M56 !!!

Today seen on the M56 Westbound just by junction 9.

Overhead gantry lights showing 50MPH limit but no obvious delay in front, no big build up of cars and no road works signs.

But...............

Barely 100 yards furher along is an overbridge and there are plod with their van neatly hidden by the gantry you have just gone under, with three cameras, one for each lane.

So it would appear they are deliberately setting a lower limit, which they know are generally ignored if it looks safe ahead.

In fact its hardly possible to decelerate from normal motorway speed to 50 by the time they have you. Nice eh ?

Not sure if its Cheshire or Greater Manchester police.

But anyway I am sure both forces have major crime to deal with in the areas the cover, including drugs and illegal firearms.

Whichever force it is, this is a legally questionable tactic and they wonder why the public don't like them.

I saw the setup on the way to the airport, but still wound down the window on the way back and gave two fingers to the b@st@rds.

It's getting towards the end of the month they are probably low on there monthly points, Sunday is a good day for them to gain a few more points towards there monthly quota.

We had picked up the sister in law from the airport. She lives in Sussex and was telling us that she knows someone who has been driving without a licence, and has not taken a test, for five yeards. Despite being reported to plod they have done nothing.

However DVLA and North Wales plod have been having a purge on untaxed cars in North Wales. DVLA have rented a complete floor of the "Gateway to Wales" hotel in Queensferry for their staff at £70,000 per week and have been happily having untaxed cars flatbedded away for impounding and/or crushing.

Whats the difference between the driver with no licence in Sussex and the purge on untaxed cars ? Why so much effort on untaxed cars and nothing on the moron driving around with no licence ?

Simple - more money for Gordon in making sure cars are taxed..................

And as for that fascist little turd being PM, God help us all.

they had a tax dodging purge around here on saturday there were at least 9 coppers on bikes and in cars on a straight stretch of road no more than half a mile long a vast waste of taxpayers money :twisted:
