Static shocks

Now me and the pooch have a problem, the last 2 days we've been giving each other static shocks in the van when i stroke him. It leads to us both yelping and ignoring each other. We need a remedy as we're both worried that too many shocks may render us infertile in our prime. I asked him if i could earth him to the van but he didnt like the idea of crocodile clips attached to his nipples, so what do we do???? Its ruining our working relationship and bringing friction into the home :muhaha:
