Do people get so jealous of what you drive?
I went out to a bonfire tonight with some mates & i parked the evo up close by so i could keep an eye on it & before you know it there were quite a few people around it taking pic's of it & i had a couple of young ladies ask me if they could go for a ride in it & then people started saying stuff like "i'd race you in my car" "bet it aint that quick" & the one that topped it off was "the fires getting low we should put the jap piece of shite evo on"!!

& this was coming from someone who i sort of know! & no he didnt say it in a joking way!

All i can think is the attention the car was getting must really have pissed them off for some reason :???:

This is the 1st time i've heard anyone say anything bad about the car after owning it for over a year & a half & tbh im slightly upset!

Has anyone else on here ever had anything like that?

My so called 'friends' have been rather insulting to my little old 2 in the pub up until one lad with quite a nice BMW decided to try and out sprint me. :woohoo: Now they try and change the subject when the evo comes into the conversation as the bar maids have said to the guy ' I hear Daves car pissed all over yours last weekend' !! :muhaha: :muhaha:

Yea..I've had people who owns modded up V8s Holdens (i'm in Australia) say to me that Evos are japanese tuna cans...and brag on how shit they are...Until i completely smoke them on straights and especially on corners...Made one of them loose control spinning out trying to match the same speed as me on a corner... :muhaha:
