Being stopped by the filf...

As you may know I have run Soarers for 6 years prior to my present 'collection' and during that time only once did the filf stop me and even then they 'decided' [for whatever reason] to go back to their car and not even ask me any questions [odd!!!] since driving 'named' cars I am stopped quite often, again last night, that's three times this month and frankly I am getting rather fed up with the same old same old...

I am seriously considering ditching the 'marqued' cars and going back to the quiet discretion of the Lexus, I drive slower now than i ever have and in comparison to my tenure in Soarers I drive like a total pussy.

I have spoken to other 'flash car' drivers in the area and it seems I am not alone in finding this happening, yet my near neighbour to whom I sold my Red Soarer has not once been stopped in it and he drives way way way faster than me in my cars...

If you get stopped more than 3 times in a month you can complain on grounds of harrasment, then when plod run a pnc check on your car again before they pull you it will tell them they can only pull you if you've commited an offence. A few mates had to do this as they were constantly getting pulled

know the feeling mate, but they always have grounds for stopping me, pmsl, sideways off round abouts, excessive speed, erratic over taking, no seat belt, on phone, on phone eating reading map, messing with sat nav, LOL, you get used to it.

Thats very true.
Just been reading bout it my little books as im trying to join the local plod , and i explained to some friends of mine who are in the local force bout a new sheriff in town thinking he was he nuts and kept pulling for my plates on my modded mondeo and even tried taking it to court all within 3 weeks of being pulled the first time (pulled 3 times in 3 weeks in total). He got a right ticking off, and i got letter of apology 8) .
