Any puter boffins
I got a new laptop thru insurance and its got wirless on it. When i turn it on it picks up a wireless network and i can go on the internet without a service provider and it seems faster than my broadband. Why is this i dont even have to pay????

ah the wonders of wireless :muhaha: It means some one else has a wireless network in your computers catchment range that is unprotected. hence you can use it and it costs you nothing :muhaha:

Good on yeh mate. I can choose from two or three near me. The guy who's connection it is will know someone is on as his connection will be slower. Also he will be able to look in your shared folder so no porn mate If I were you I'd lock my own connection to stop people doing what you are

How can i look at his shared documents? Can i use his printer that would be so funny, "this is your great uncle albert contacting you from the other side"

Just go to your network places, select entire network, choose the name that comes up in the window, select shared folders and away you go!!!

Just worked out its my neighbour from their pictures. i dont like them so i'll have some fun maybe a folder for dads porn muha ha ha. their printers already chucking out 10 test pages
