I am such a child (been measuring my 0-60)

Been out, on a private test track

......and using one of these.......



Alledgedly accurate to .1 sec, after a (very) damp day in Surrey, & with a reasonable launch (still reckon I could get better) I got this....



Not a great pic as I used my camera on my Motorola V3

It keeps flashing the time up until you power it off, so I took the picture a bit later, away from the track :-)

Nice one mate. I had one of those a while back, I did 5.5secs to 60 in my old V (god bless her!!) With just a normal start then flooring the throttle once moving.

Hehe, the best I managed in my VII when running 320bhp was 4.92 0-60, I think my 1/4 mile was 13.7 at 109mph IIRC. The best launch I got was by holding 5k revs, binning the clutch while flooring the throttle, slight wheelspin and away! :muhaha:

Clutch smells soon stopped play... ops:
