Went out on the car on Sunday night (7ish while there was still some light) onto the B6318 (military) road - for the first time (with the exception of that insane harrogate run ) I really thrashed the car. Reached upto 145mph and at that point bottled it and let go of the throttle - really scary stuff as the car was still pulling hard at 145mph and I thought f*ck this I'm running out of road.

Further up there is a long sweeping bend about .4 of a mile long so i decided to test the AYC - reached upto 125mph before the back end started to give and then the AYC kicked in with a vengeance. Now I'm not used to the AYC so when it did kick in I had to hang on for dear life as the car sort of nearly fishtailed on me but after about 20-30 yards it stabilised.. (phew) I think it was more due to the fact of my inexperience and not holding onto the steering wheel hard enough than anything else..

So I live to see another Sunday
