Lets make this a forum

Hi guys as you can see from my post count i have not spent a long time here but i have a request, can we make this a forum and not an mlr bitching, wind up zone. Im sure everybody would feel better with the forums running in their own rights as forums and my concern is anybody coming to this site at the moment would be put off with the constant references to the mlr. we need to work together on this site as evo owners and not with grudges or chips. i would not want to see the sites drifting apart with a wedge being driven between them

Yes I agree but there is a difference between bitching and harmless fun I have supported the mlr and you can see that by my car stickers and the amount of meets that I attend I will aways be in the mlr unless my company is not wanted, you can be member of something and also have an opinion as well there are plenty of mlr and lan-evo.net members that dig at other car forums and cars but it is the context it is done by that is important

Funnily enough I tend to agree with you Mos!!

However a bit of friendly rivalry and 'bitching' all make for a more 'interesting' site. I personally think it would be wrong to have a ban on that sort of thing, but I do think those types of thread should be in the 'members only' area. If required they can also be moderated!! :shock:

No No i wouldnt believe in a ban of any sorts but lets make fun of some other forums aswell then as we seem to concentrating only on the one at the moment whose initials just keep cropping up time and again. Ive gone and done it in my only 2 posts and one of those got moved

How are you and bbigman doing i was away when you were moved.

Yes I do agree that it is a bit one sided a the moment but things will pan out over the coming months, there's a bit of adjustment going on at the moment with a few members, If I dare say if there was a mod change on a certain site you would find every one getting on better it doesent mean they are all bad it just would be a good starting point, I think it does many place's good to have a change but that is just my opinion is is not intended to cause aggro

lmao mate yes, sorry I moved your post, I pm'd you bud, it was for the very reason that you talk of in this thread, bazza was a bit concerned recently over the divide so we have worked a little to narrow that gap and keep the two forums running alongside each other, with a bit of friendly banter.

I suspect forums like scoobynet etc will always take a hammering aswell since they are the darkside :darkside:

jpo was takin the piss out of the audi forum the other day, and I was giving passionfords muppet forum a bit of a going over myself

we all respect the mlr, and as with that other thread its open in the members area for discussion !

by the way lads, I met MOS at mlr AVA day and a top bloke, one of the better ones tbh, came up and intro'd himslef, very decent, shame we couldnt have chatted longer mate but it looked like you had your hands full with the kids
