Guess what??
As you know I'm a fireman. As part of my job, We will when asked...or sometimes when not asked!! fit for free, smoke alarms in peoples houses as part of a drive for fire safety. Today we had a visit from social services. They (social services) today where trying to get us to whilst fiiting alarms ask how much they smoke and drink and refer them to the relevant social service dept :shock: WTF is this country coming to. Infringeing on peoples civil liberties and personal freedoms like that??

Well as you know I am the "all for a quite life sort of guy!!!!!! :shock: " So I said my piece
obviously social services are not used to the fire service way of putting your point over :muhaha: Needless to say I had one of the bosses on the phone within 10 mins of the meeting finishing :???: Don't bother me me though, tell it like it is that's my motto :twisted: dave P.S. We will have to do it in the end as the chief said " if you don't like it you know where the door is" Feckin fascist!!!!!!!!!!!!
