Can Rizzy be helped?..............NO!!

The lad who fit my clutch has in the past rebuilt loads of insurance write offs. They have all the gear to do it properly, jigs etc, and at the end all the cars are checked by an independant engineer to ensure correct repair has been carried out. (that's the background)

Whilst browsing on sidc I came across thishttp://forums.sidc.co.uk/messageview...threadid=31829
which in turn led to thishttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...526684041&rd=1
Thinking this was up my mates street I phoned him.
He in turn rang the guy and, to cut a long story short, it would appear that the car is either not yet over here, not his to sell, no paperwork VAT,BMIT, model report, etc etc. And even though the add clearly states £14k to buy now he wants to wait to see what other bids come in at??? So I thought I'd put the word back on to sidc and scoobynet to save some sorry tale happening. But now it looks like Rizzy has found me out!!!! see herehttp://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=402475 I have to ask myself is it worth the effort ??

Would'nt touch it with a barge pole  Why would you buy a car for that sort of money without even seeing it? Paper work arrives before the car when you import anyway.
