You see mate you chose the wrong vittal to dunk! The hobnob is far to open celled to keep it's integrity whaen soaked in piping hot tea You should have gone for a dunking classic See this recipe

Ingredients

1 ounce butter (1/8 cup)

3-1/2 tablespoons honey

2 ounces chestnut flour (1/2 cup)

2-1/2 ounces almonds, roughly ground (5/8 cup) roughly ground almonds*

1/2 teaspoons baking soda

1 dessert spoon boiling water
Instructions

1. Melt the butter with 2 tablespoons of the honey.

2. Mix in the chestnut flour, rough almond flour and the remaining 1-1/2 tablespoons of the honey.

3. In a separate bowl (or cup) mix the baking soda with the boiling water and then stir this into the main biscuit mixture.

4. Place in small heaps on a baking tray and cook at 160 degrees C for 10-15 minutes or until brown. (Sometimes I pat some of the air out of the biscuits after about ten minutes cooking time to make them a bit crunchier.)

5. Makes about 14.
Notes

*the texture of the biscuits is better with roughly ground almonds instead of finely ground ones.

these are designed to stay together even having been subject to a temp of 90 degrees

buzkitz

bonjour....

its not the quality of the buzkit. its the way you dunk it that really matters..
ask any female, never mind the width, the length, its the way it stands up to exteme temperture's that makes it a good buzkit  :!: :!:
