Not that I know anything about pc's but is it a new router aswell or just a wireless card?
The reason I ask is I had a new wireless router yesterday (it was the same as my old which died in the last thunder storm we had) and i couldent get it to work untill i recconected it to the internet through the network connections folder. Also I know some routers wont work with the BT ISP for some reason.
Sorry to jump in and talk random crap
