Hi mate ,
1. You will need either a router modem or to buy a separate router as there arent enough sockets to plug the cable in that you need to use for the xbox on a standard modem. 2. not sure what you mean 3. yeah you can plug your old skybox in , provided you have an old viewing card you should get a fair few of the free channels. |

I can help with q1
Firstly if you don't have broadband, don't even bother If you do have broadband if your router has a spare RJ45 socket, use that. (Looks a bit like a large BT socket) If you dont have a spare RJ45, buy a router that does have spare sockets If you want any guidance, give me a call Tom

The router is a wireless one with 4 ethernet connecters on the back (are these what you mean Whoosh?) Can the x box be connected via wireless as i hate cables trailing around the place? what plug do i use on our current sky box to connect to the old one or should i just get a multiroom subscription and have done with it(also save a few arguments :muhaha: ) Spank you guy's Tom

But yes you can connect an old xbox via ethernet no problem. Then you have to sign up/pay for xbox live. Paul. |
