1989 Peugeot 309 SRi - engine from a 205 1.6 GTi but without the performance, I hated it after my Cavalier 1.8 GLi! It felt sooooo slow and felt as if it had been clipped together rather than screwed...!

Oh and a 1997 Corsa 1.2 Breeze - why oh why did I buy it?!

I can't say I've had a particularly bad car, my wife bought a new Rover 216 back in 97, now that was truly a piece of shit.

What was wrong with the Corsa Skip?

I had a 1.4 SRi as a second car and it was faultless in the 2 years I had it!

Nothing particularly, it was just slow and incredibly dull, I class that among the "worst" attributes....!

Actually, the wife had a 94 corsa 1.4 sri before the rover, we had loads of problems with it, it used to 'kangaroo' loads, and sometimes used to rev to 5k by itself! It went into the dealer countless times, never was sorted.

A guy I used to work with bought a year old 96 Corsa 1.6 SRi and had the same problem! They gave him his money back in the end and he bought a Saxo VTR (new at the time)

Gosh! This would be a hard one Fiesta XR2 against Sierra 1.6L ops: but I think it has to be the 1.6L Ford Sierra that wins!
