Your opinions

I'd really appreciate your opinions fellow evo nutty's.
As some may know I'm in the process of a barn conversion living in a caravan. The dilema I got is -
when I finish in October-ish I would like to rent the caravan out as a holiday let thingy say for 6 months of the year. The caravan is only a couple of years old and has central heating, double glazing 3 bedrooms (sleeps upto 8 in total inc sofa bed) so is quite a high spec caravan. It also has decking its own priate lawn with access to a large paddock for kids to play footy in a large shed with a washing machine and storage for your bikes etc and the only noise is a river and birds, quite an idilic setting. Situated in mid pembrokeshire and basicly only half an hour to an hour from all tourist attractions we have to offer (mountain walks, some of the cleanest beaches in the UK, theme parks etc)
Now would you holiday makers consider this as somthing you would consider if you were to visit wales on a caravan holiday?
My other option is to put it on permenant let or sell it. I'd rather it be a holiday retreat for people as it is so nice here.
Your opinions count, and if I do keep it I will give one lucky fully paid member a weeks free holiday in the evo-net christmas raffle for the 2007 season.

Let it out mate.

If you shop around you can not get a static around wales for less than £600 week or more.

As Tuppy said large group of lads or Girls may not be wise unless you get a security deposit and if there is no damage then they can have a refund.

Not too sure mate , when me and the missis are looking for a holiday we always try to get somewhere a maximum of a couple of minutes from a beach , mainly cos when we are on holiday we dont want to be doing much traveling each day.

I am guessing if the price is right then you should be ok finding people that would want to stay there , but suppose really you would have to try it out for a season to see if its going to be viable

Cheers folks for your opinions. I dont think it would appeal to young groups as its not near anough to entertainment, I think it would suit more mature people on walking/exploring holidays although it would suit family's. I will try it though as I have nothing to lose as such.

cheers tups and whoosh, the way i look at it I could get 200-250 a month on a permenant let or maybe 300-350 week on a holiday let for 6 months of the year.
I would prefer holiday cos it such a nice place and would be nice to share
