Beware the hard shoulder

One of our trucks was working on the hard shoulder of the M25 on Monday night when it was hit by artic truck at full speed, the driver had fallen asleep and first comment was "what have I hit"

Amazingly nobody was hurt as all my guys were collecting signs from up the banking but it just shows if you break down get as far away from the road as possible

A woman my son worked with was killed a while back on the M56 on the way to Manchester.

She had run out of petrol, and a Highways Agency patrol stopped to help her. The whole lot was rammed by a truck and the woman was killed and the two Highways Agency guys were seriously injured.

Police discovered the HGV driver was drunk................
