new member, and of course a couple of questions?

hi i am currently considering my next car, i am hopfully selling my 350z soon and although there are a few cars i would like i have managed to narrow it down.
The evo 6 seems to be the one i like but have no experience of thesae at all. What is the realibility like? servicing?
It will be used as a weekend car and would hope to get a nice example in silver for around 10k does that sound about right?
anyone selling one can pm me or email me on roygtv@aol.com
The 350z should be going tommorow so will have cash waiting! cheers!

welcome to evo net

the evo 6 is a great car but costs the same as all evo's to run

service every 4,500 miles inc AYC so its not cheap , ins group 20

then depending on your mods & how you drive it 15 to 22 miles per gall of fuel

but put that to one side & THE FUN FACTOR IS 150%

best now read the buyers guide :muhaha:

Hello and welcome .

You would prob need to spend nearer to 12k to get a nice low milage example of a 6.

Good luck with the hunt.

I would think you'd have to spend a little more than 10K for a really good VI.
Service every 4500 / 6 months, which ever comes first.
Expect 15-20 mpg (some higher tuned cars will be lower than this  )

Good luck.

Hi and

10K sounds a little low for a good VI, but you might get lucky.

They're complicated cars that need to be maintained regularly by someone who knows what they're doing, and it's not cheap.

I'd look for one that's got a low mileage and good history (specialist servicing is far better than dealer in my opinion, although there are one or two good mitsi dealers).

Have a look at the buyers guide, it'll help loads, and please ask any question you like on here, we'll help if we can.

Good luck.

Totally. Bulletproof cars.
Just make sure they are serviced on time. As Dral says, they are complicated machines. You can't get them serviced by Daves mate from down the pub :muhaha:
