An Evo of my own!

My Hubby has an Evo VIII MR FQ 320 which he regrets letting me borrow cos now I want one of my own.

With the launch of the IX, I'm hoping that the price of the remaining new or pre-reg XIIIs is dropping. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on one for around £15k? I'd be happy with a 260 but happier with an MR!

Hi and Carina

I think you'll struggle for a MR, but you might get an VIII, and certainly a VII for 15K.

If you can afford a bit more you'll get a good MR fir 18-20K, and i think it'd be worth it. If you need to stick to 15K a VII would be good bet, the 260 basically a VII with a VIII front end and a detuned ECU and exhaust (extra cat).

Good luck anyway, they're great cars

There are a few Mitsubishi dealers doing the 260 for £18500k new. A few second hand ones are going for £16500-£17000

As Dral pointed out, the 260 is basically a VII with a restricted ECU [lower boost in 1st gear] and 2 cats.. Get these sorted and you should be good for 330-340bhp with stage 1 mods
