From Cyprus

Hi

I have a Jap import silver Evo 5 GSR, I have owned it for over 2 years and had a lot of problems with it over 12K spend on repairs but it is sound now. apart from the clutch is on the way out again, but I guess we all know that feeling if you have owned an Evo for a while.

However I live in Cyprus, but the company I work for has decided that I have to return to the UK in November.

So no more cheap Booze, Fags and more importantly Petrol.

So I have started to look around for getting the car back to the UK, and on my search I have come across this website.

My question is I need an SVA test, Speedo Conversion, a Cat for a HKS exhaust and fog lights I`m looking for replacement for the boot mounted cluster, to make my baby road legal. Is there anywhere in the UK that can do this work and what sort of costs are involved.

It is over £700 to get the car back into the country before anything else.

The ESVA thing isn't too bad and shouldn't cost too much. There are plenty of importers who can help.

Good luck with it, and hope the UK optimax tax doesn't shock you too much.
