Hi mate,

There are some bargain Evo V-VIII's to be had at the moment..

Some Mitsubishi dealers are doing the VIII's from £19k!

Hi mate,

I switched to an Evo from an ITR.

They are very different, the evo is much faster, but it's a very different drive. The 4WD grips like crazy so in my opinion it's much harder to chuck the car around on the road, they are very different, the Evo just goes where you point it, the ITR (and CTR?) was a much more involved drive with the car telling you the limits as you went. I find that i can only drive and evo as hard as i would i honda on track.

The big advanage evo's have is tuning, trying to improve on honda's engineering is hard work and expensive, evo are really robust and you can start tuning the car so suit you pretty cheaply.

It's really what you find fun mate, get a go in one an see.

Sound advice again Dral :beerjug:

I have an S2000 as well as the Evo and I find the S2000 gives me a lot of pleasure when pushing hard..

When challenging the same bit of road in the Evo you just become a complete nutcase  and you giggle like a schoolgirl :muhaha:

As Dral said, Evo's are so easy and cheap to get upto 330bhp and they will run all day on that power without any problems.
