hey all!

Hey there im from the states and am a big EVO fan, thing is we only got VIII's out here, nice car but way over my price range. Im looking at the III's, I like their looks, but they are hard to find. Anyone have any experience with certain companies for importing/exporting? I know there are a few good companies out there, but more options are always better haha.
Nice site btw!

Hey there, and

I guess you're in the states? I'm afraid i can't be much help with US importers, but I'm sure someone will be able to help.

What model Civic do you have at the moment?

Thanks for the welcome!

As for my Civic I have a lowly HX model, it looks nice (kitted and a few others little things done to it) but nothing to write home about. As for importing a car I've been searching around seeing who knows what, the odds and ends. Basically the things I have to worry about are customs and those charges, they can get hefty. As for getting the car here, shouldnt be too much of a problem.
I researched into EVO's a while back, my freind has an VIII and I absolutely love it. But me im more into retro..and earlier EVO's are rare here in the states. Im hoping to get my hands on one this summer, till then ill just drool waiting

No Honda is lowly (can you guess i'm big honda fan), i have an old CRX that i doing up and hoping to race this season.

I think you may need to be careful with emissions when you're importing older Evo's into the states, you can get them at pretty reasonable prices from the Jap autions, there are quite a few US evo.net members hopefully they'll be able to give you some more helpful advice.
