APT - Norwich. Who are we??
Hi Everyone.
We are Automotive Performance Tuning. We are located in Norwich, well, just outside Norwich actually, so nice and easy to get to! We have been established for over 2 years now and there are 3 of us, all from a tuning background, so have not only an enthusiastic and pro-active working knowledge of modern turbo-charged vehicles, but also official mechanical qualifications to back it up. Gary is the proprietor and the main Technician, his workshop partner is Chris, who has a reputation amongst our regulars of being incredibly thorough and methodical. Christian (Me!!) is mainly office-based, dealing with ordering & bookings etc, but with a good working knowledge and extensive live-mapping experience. We are well-equipped and can carry out most of your servicing and upgrade requirements. We have a MUT-II unit, so we can service the AYC system and use only the best quality parts (unless otherwise specified). We have knowledge and experience in fitting and setting up brake and suspension upgrades for road and track-day purposes and can map Apexi and MoTeC management systems. Gary’s Evo 7 was originally purchased to replace his Nissan 200sx S13, which, at 470bhp became a little ‘unusable’. The Evo was intended to be a good all-rounder, allowing fun on the track, but with the practicality of a 4-door and was to remain close to standard! Nice theory. The car is currently producing just under 400bhp with RC Engineering 1000cc Injectors, MoTeC M800Pro (with Datalogging and ALS), TD Roller-Bearing Turbo (4†Inlet), GReddy Intercooler, Coilovers, AP 360mm brakes, 18†Ultralites etc. However, a rebuild is planned imminently, whereby the engine will be upgraded to a capacity of 2.3 litres, using an AMS stroker kit, K1 Lightweight crankshaft, Steel conrods, Forged pistons, HKS 272 Cams, Metal head-gasket, ARP fixings (Rods/Head/Mains), GT35R Turbo kit with Manifold and External Wastegate, which should be fairly interesting. We hope for that to be in action within the next few weeks and will post some pics to show you in due course! Anyway, please don’t hesitate to contact us with your requirements. Christian. |

Do you do anything with the early evo's or is it just the later version's. Not after anything at the moment, but you never know. T & N
