Hi, new here

Hi,
Ive just signed up to this forum as I have recently got myself an EVO IV, so I thought I would start to chat/meet like minded people.

I am having some trouble with the AYC/diff on my car at the moment, and judging by some of the posts on here it seems to be a common problem. Mine was doing the usual squeeling when cornering, got the AYC bled a few weeks ago, and it seem to have got worse, and now when slowing down for a junction or traveling at low speed (under 10mph) the car makes a grinding noise from the rear, so I am suspecting the diff will need replacing.

Im bookign in to a ralliart dealer to see what they think, (the same guys who bled the AYC), but if it needs replacing it will get done under warranty so I am not too worried.

For those of you out there that are moe experienced with the Evo than me, I would love to hear what your thoughts are on my problem, and if the squeelign plus the grinding noise at slow speeds are a sign that the diff is shot.

Anyway, Im looking forward to becoming an active member of this site, and hopefully get to know a few of you guy's on here.

Steve

Let the Dealer have a look first. Dont be fobbed off though, any doubts take it to a recognised specialist for a second opinion.

There are a few about so if you need one, just ask 8)
