Newbie say's Hi

Well, I did it, I sold the Scoob and got myself a proper car......
Ok, one I can change the spark plugs on without removing half the engine ancillaries.

Got myself a Scotia white VI (Mucho stealthy) and I love it.......it's like a road legal go-kart :muhaha:

Thanks for the welcome and kind words

As above really.

I hail from the wilds of Buckinghamshire (outside High Wycombe).

The car is reasonably clean, I have yet to give her a thorough going over as I keep getting distracted by silly 'niggles'.

Fuel cut
Oil seepage (from lord knows where)
Fookin annoying rattle

The fuel cut has been a great way to find my way round the engine and systems, I've tried new plugs, new air filter, bypassing the boost solenoid and am about to fit a new actuaor this weekend. If that fails then I'm guessing it's ralliart ECU time :???:

As for my oil leak.......it's just plain annoying, nothing dramatic, but I can't find where it's coming from. At first I though the gasket on the oil retun pipe into the sump had gone, as I could not see oil any higher than that, but I replaced it and guess what......oil leak.

Haven't even begun to investigate my rattle yet.

So untill such time as these 3 things are sorted my journies will be short, below 6000rpm and infrequent.

I still love it to bits though :P
