Which clutch and flywheel have you been using?

Who has been fitting it?

Which Transmission oil did they use?

Lloyd :-)

If your car is standard your clutch should last you an average of 30.000 miles

But even if mildly modified car they should last longer that the distances you are making :???:

I would look to the people who are fitting it for you

btw

I've had two VIIs, both clutches gave up soon after i got them at about 16-18K miles. I've never been hard on a standard clutch, they are weak.

If you're going through them like that though i think you should consider an upgrade.

Generally and uprated organic helix is good for close to standard cars, and will have some give which lets you slip it so it's more useable in traffic.

If you've got a bit more power, say 330-340bhp upward you should look at paddle or twin clutches, a bit harder to use (i find them very ok, but some people don't like them). But do remember that strengthening the clutch puts strain further down your drive train.

If they're going that quickly under stock power, it might be worth looking for somewhere else to fit them too.
