Rotorstock 3 - Sunday and Monday 28-29 May 2006

Rotorstock 3
Sunday and Monday 28-29 May 2006

YOU ARE ALL INVITED TO COME AND HAVE FUN WITH US; all you need to be part of the event is a Japanese car.

You probably already know something of Rotorstock - the event that combines an open drag strip and drift course with championship competitions on each as well as ‘show and shine’ contests for display cars. The event is organised by the Mazda Rotary Club but all of the activities are open to any Japanese car and the weekend aims to bring the whole UK Japanese enthusiast scene together.

In 2005 it attracted over nine thousand visitors, hosted more than two thousand runs up the quarter mile (in competitions or just for fun) and gave many people their first look at D1 style drift action in the UK. A frantic weekend of competition for more than fifty different trophies also saw spectacular jet powered dragsters ‘demonstration’ racing side by side; the first time in the UK for over twenty years.

2006 will have all the same reasons to attend plus more, making Rotorstock 3 the biggest and best yet. Shakespeare County Raceway, near Stratford upon Avon, will once again be the venue and are fully committed to making Rotorstock a flagship event on the UK Japanese scene for years to come.

Even if testing your car in any of the competitions does not appeal, Rotorstock is still a great place to meet up and relax with like-minded enthusiasts against a backdrop of petrol head action. Camping is free on the SCR site or on club stands. We know the Bank Holiday can be a busy weekend but would like to welcome as many clubs as possible – whatever kind of Japanese car they represent.

So, before your club’s Spring Bank Holiday weekend in May is full, all at Mazda Rotary Club would like to formally invite you to be part of this action packed, fun, weekend. Please contact lisa@mazdarotaryclub.com for more information. You can watch www.rotorstock.com for the latest developments and shortly you will be able to book tickets online too.

This may clash with our Nurburgring Trip. If not, Evo.net should be happy to be there :muhaha:

Thats a shame! looks as though it does clash.
It would be good to see those of you who miss the ferry though.
(Thanks for 'Stickying' this at the top of the page btw) :thumbsup!:
