Anyone any experience of buying apartments/houses off plan?

Been talking to a customer of mine about this.

Was trying to get as much info about it as possible.

Basically he owns 15 apartments/houses, he buys them off plan and you get a 15% discount by buying them that way. He then rents em out for a couple of years then sells them on and buys more.

Am pretty interested in doing this myself if possible, seein as at the moment we dont have out own place so i dont have that many outgoings so can have a bit of cash to put towards somethin.

Obviously it wouldnt happen overnight, but would be good to buy one place first of all and try it out. Could always flog it if I couldnt afford it.

Does anyone have any information on doing this at all? Any information would be really helpful, where to find the properties etc and procedures for buying off plan.

Cheeeeeersssss

buying any thingof plan is ok if you can see through the planswith a bit of vision, but good way to get discount,do you get all fixtures and fitting included, make sure the developer has a good record as you dont want to buy just a plan

Good luck if you do take it on Paul

I know this isn't exactly the same, but the building from plans etc will most probably be the same.

As far as I know you can usually choose your fixtures and fittings within a certain price range. But just make sure all this is included otherwise you will end up with just a bare shell.
