Whats going on !!

We moved over from MLR because the people seemed friendlier on here, So why is it that every time i look on here at the forums all you ever see is people moaning because threads and posts have been deleted. It seems that you are not allowed to say what you want on here anymore just because higher powers don't agree with what you are saying.I wish that these problems would get sorted because its not making for a good place to visit.

I post all sorts of crap on MLR and never (ok only once ) have we had any trouble with moderators or management.

The site aint gonna grow if its members aren't allowed to breathe.

whats going on here is a concerted effort by certain members (who were here before i bought the forum) to sabotage the forum for new members & me. they are constantly hacking the admin, deleting peoples post, using abuse language swearing etc etc. everytime i edit the 'swear words' part of the admin, they go back in and turn it off or change stuff i.e. when trina is written, it says muppet. how childish and idiotic is that ??

we are wasting hours and hours trying to keep on top of it & wasting time and money i want to spend on redesigning of the forum. which keeps getting held up due to this.
I subsidised this forum out of my own pocket and i dont see why i need to put up with this childish behaviuor. would you pay money out your pocket to be abused ?

what i dont understand is if these people are so unhappy with this forum why they dont stay on thier own, they have 2 already. why do they keep coming back here causing trouble and spoiling things for new members. the rules of the forum are here:Evo.net Forum Rules V1.1 for all to see anytime.

Basiclly summed up here:
9. Mutual Respect: Members and Guests alike are expected to behave in a civilized manner and respect one-another. This means no derogatory or snide remarks of any kind. Traditional social niceties ("good manners") such as "please" and "thank you" are encouraged. Rudeness will not be tolerated, and personal insults may be reported to Moderators who will be allowed to admonish or suspend the offending party. Cross-posting is rude and multiple incidents will be met with serious sanctions.

the site admin is taken over by a pro forum company very soon who will sort this problem out. anyone found breaking the above forum rules will be auto deleted and or banned as the company are not intrested in peoples personal griveances etc.

and neaky you raised a good point 'people moaning on here' have you noticed it always the same people.

regarding 'saying what you want on here' you or anyone else can as long as its within forum rules.

all i wanted to know was why you/management where keeping this forum back form having discussion. now that you have explained your situation i can understand and respect that. at least we know whats been going on and why post keep on going missing. an explication is always better than just saying no.

can i also say there is a fine line between moderating and taking over. fine you guys dont get paid so cant spend all your time on here but lets just remember we are all adults here and im sure most of us can see when crap is being throw around.

thanks for the reply & understanding. a lot of my & other moderators posts are deleted regading deletion of posts, so as you can imagine its pretty hard to keep up with so many people working against you & the club.

i have even been locked out of this forum ( i.e. my own) many times by these people. the last time was the other day. i have also had my posts numbers reducded to 6 before. and iam sure they think its all a big laugh

as i said i just wish they would move on as to me if my local pub landlord changed and i didnt like him or how he changed the pub i would move on & find one that i did like. i have tried my best to please everyone, but as i have learnt in life you cant please all the people all the time. also it would be so much easier all round if some people moderated themselves sometimes.

one thing iam sure off, i will please a lot of people with the new site & all the extra functions :-) :-) (i hope )

I joined this site as there was many friendly folk on here - It's a shame there's the minority of people who want to try and spoil things for everyone else.

im feeling abit p#ssed off !!!

the other night there was a lot of bitching going on :x

all posted was my feelings of evo.net in the sense i was recomended to come over to evo.net due to being helpful good peeps no bitching etc etc and saying that the love for these motors brought us all together etc etc

then when i went back the next night to see if anyone had replied it had been deleted now that did realy p#ss me off :x :twisted: not even a pm explaining why

like you said billy it must be p#ssing u off good money spent and all that :shock: i was thinking about my good money spent and fellow members money spent on membership and us also having to put up with this qu#p :twisted:
