Hi Rich,
Yeah mate, we did speak a little while back ! I've been on the web-site, excellent reading I'm more than happy to start bringing the car to you next month. Cars at 24,000 miles, so I guess the 22,000 mile service is in order. After that I'll be going for a cam-belt change, just to be safe. Q - Can you begin an english service book for me when I first bring the car in ? Q - As I'm a couple of hours away, can I bring car first thing in morning, and take home same day ? If so, is there much to do by your place, to keep me occupied, or are you miles away from civilisation ? ? I guess we can talk about future work on the car when we meet Thanks mate, til next month then :thumbsup!:

Sure, I thought so.
I can't put my finger on a reason really, just that I don't feel as confident with Triton (my perception of a flyer from Triton I have, and friends comments), compared to the evo enthusiast experts here on the site/s. I suppose, now you mention several years of good relations with Triton, it does sounds a bit far-fetched to travel so far ? Are they really that good, at working on evo's ? Anyways... you must be close to me then mate ? (I'm close to Triton you see ??)I must admit, since getting the evo, all I seem to see around hometown is evo's. White, silver and black VI's, white and silver IV's etc. Its always the way, you buy a car, then see loads of them about. Its probably you I'm seeing around town in the silver VI ?

I don't want to steal business away from Richevo4 as i've heard good stuff about him as well, but you won't find anyone more knowledgeable about Evos/Rally cars than Triton
They have also just taken on full time Marcus Dodds No1 mechanic Give them a ring or go along for a chat

Its entirely up to you who you go to, wont put my nose out of joint if you dont come to me, would be great if you did. i do have people travel a fair way to come to me.
if you do come to me then theres no problem with the history part. you will obviously have invoices from myself detailing all work carried out and i can stamp any sevice book, although i'm not sure if its possible to physically get hold of a proper service book as such. entirely up to you, if you ever happen to be passing, gimme a shout and pop in |

My perception of travelling for duties (given that I'll be travelling in my new TME) is......................... Ave it !
The further the better in a way really, gives me an excuse to keep driving the car Must try and get hold of a service book in anticipation of starting english sevices. Suppose I'll get onto Mitsubishi for that. Thanks for your help all, and I will no doubt be meeting you all in the very near future I'm gonna take that drive up anyways Rich, any excuse for a cruise
