unfortunately very common these days, and they don't give a sh&t if its an old guy or not......................
what people should realise is that it is 'us' (the traders) that pay for this, NOT the c/card companies as some people wrongkly assume...................
the insurance is only for the card holder, the ripped off merchant has to fund the pay-out!!!

I'll second what ASP has said - we got done once for a set of wheels. As a trader you have very little come back. We work much tigter now.
Hope Park Terrace.... now that rings a bell with me but I cant remember why. We're based only 10 miles from Edin and I'm in there all the time - maybe I should go and have a look and see what's what...

The credit card company fight to the best they can, you have to produce evidence of delivery and anything else you might have, but its never enough 
The biggest credit card scam there is at the moment!
We have tightened up all our telesales trading now, Its a shame coz it make you seem so unhelpful when in the past you would have helped by sending to a works address & stuff.....I will only ever do that now with people i know.
