carbon propshaft?

when bhp/torque is worked out on the dyno, i think 20-25% is taken off to account for transmission losses through heat,
am fairly new so thats my understanding of it. please correct me if i'm wrong.

so if i was to get a carbon propshaft (i think thats one of the things "taking away" the bhp is it not?), it would obviously be
lighter and more to the point, it would spin a lot easier, so therefor you'd lose less bhp, and more transferred to the wheels, right??

basically i'm asking what can i do to reduce the 20-25% losses, as its a massive amount really!
As apposed to looking to gain more bhp, liberating bhp makes more sense to me!

what sort of price would it be for an evo4?

cheers
matt

at a recent rolling road me had mate I think the Transmission loss was 24%

As for the carbon Propshaft I think you would loose Bhp and gain Torque as I understand it but I might be wrong

You will lose around 4 to 5 % of your transmission loss with a carbon prop.
They aren't cheap at around £1350
