Oil leak fixed but not correct.

Whats this all about should they not be solid pipes?

They should be solid pipes. One burst and I almost seized up, the clear pipe is the new one.

I can't tell no as it's an early evo, not too familiar with those ops:

If they are off to the cooler they should be braided flexi lines as far as I know. This is to allow for engine movement.

But I'll let the early evo guys handle it as they are better informed than me. 8)

I am off to unlock the garage with camera in hand to try and help out.

I know one of our pipes from the oil cooler came off and made a rather oily mess all over the car :shock:

Cheers evo1man :-)

The clear one was black but it broke and the breakdown recovery guys just fitted that clear pipe but they said it should be solid metal pipes and my ones have snapped.

I am back.

The pic hasn't come out very well (batteries probably flat as per usual)as we don't have much clearance from the garage floor to the car.

Got to say I am covered in dust now, glad I have no more work till Monday.

These are our pipes

If you want a better pic I will get Neil to take one tomorrow whilst he is working on our car again
