VIII MR RS Door mirror

Coming past Manchester on the M'way something hit my drivers door mirror.

The plastic housing has a hole the size of a 20p and a big split across the top. The mirror is still OK. So after applying electrical tap we have a great repair!

Where is the best place to get hold of door mirrors? or at least the housing?

Does anyone do Carbon ones at a reasonable price?

Is there anywhere the rally boys get this type of stuff from?

Can anyone confirm if there is any difference between the RS mirror and the GSR mirror apart from lack of motor and colour?

Thanks

Try Carbon Goodies under Trader Forums for carbon stuff. Or Scott Lowe.

GSR Mirror is the same as RS mirror. Just no motor and they are black :muhaha:
Go for the carbon stuff. Looks awesome

Thanks for the replies, sorry I did not get back to you, but I had problems with my internet.

I didn't realise how expensive a mirror could be!

It looks like black tape may have to last longer than I thought whilst I save up or think a latterally.

Any thoughts, let me know

David

Have you got all the bits.

If so Neil can works wonders with some glue, as we had a mirror smashed (previous car)and we were not going to pay £150 for a second hand mirror so he fixed it.

As far as I know it's still on the car 4 years down the line.
