rear wheel arch

when i bought my car noticed it had had a quarter panel on n/s/r the wheel arch had not been sealed properly so there was a bit of surface rust, so getting arch done next week, but what i was wondering would anyone know if the rubber wheel arch lip protive thing of a suburu will fit. i was going to put waxoil in them and fit them so the wheel arch would be well sealed then and also protect it from stone chips too ta gaz

Why dont you have some of that clear film put on when its been painted.Dont know what its called but its like clear sticky back plastic

thanks for reply i did think about that because i had a lotus elise before evo and that had that on. its only that i noticed a wrx suburu in a car park and i thought it looked a good idea
