Petrol Smell

Right dont know if you have any suggestions here, on tuesday of this week and today theres been a really strong smell of petrol in the car, its stronger when the windows are down (obviously) and when the fans are draggings the air in not re-circulating (hope makes sense). It seems to be when its boosting not sure if its just coincidental, also i filled it up with tescos 99ron last week so is it just that being a stronger smell?

Dean says nowt to worry about but i just wanna ask for suggestions as to what it may be.

We have checked the fuel cap is on, the fuel rail for leaks cant see owt and doesnt feel wet, it does seem to come from the front tho. Possible that filter (cant remember name)??

Thanks in advance

Stef

Is your exhaust blowing at all?

When our exhaust started to go you could smell petrol.
