help please!!!.

i was just driving home from shopping when i went
to shift gear and i had like something had snapped on the clutch
and i could'nt change gear i feels like there's nothing there.

Where is the clutch pedal ???

Does it spring back when you press it down ?

yeah it springs back ok but just can't get a gear it
was a good job it was by my house when it happened.

I would say your clutch has given up the ghost then, as ours went bang when that release fork thingy snapped on me.

Read this link and just check where Ben has posted the pics.

well i hope it is the clutch, it ran sweet all day never slipped once
and i give it some shit. but the only other problem is how to get it to
tinas for next friday. :???: :???:

Just check underneath the car, where the gearbox is and you will see a bar coming out with another bar joining it from the side. Are they still in place as dave at ears said that they are know for coming apart.

You could always ask my dad as he has picked up the evo when it broke down and also he took that 2 back for us when the engine went.

But I don't know how much he would charge as I pay the full rate when we need him.

I have got to give them a ring later been told by mummy to ring her back when I am at home as the mobile costs her a fortune Well don't ring me on it.

I will ask for you, it's in for the 10th isn't it?

How did you get on with the release arm, are they still together?
