manix best thing you can do is to use rain X for your windscreen, went down to wales this week and it was raining cats & dogs but on the motorway coming home to sunny Yorkshire hardly used the windscreen wipers, using rain X keeps windscreen and the other glass cleaner for longer. If you are still contemplating putting them on I have got a full set of deflectors with clips so you could have spares if needed £10 for the lot plus P&P.

the annoying thing with them is if you use your water jets with the window down the water drips down the deflector and into the car

With the wind deflectors you can have the window open an inch or two , and no rain/water comes in at all
