whats this dooberry

Noticed this on my car a few weeks ago and wanna know what it is/was?
Its behind the air filter, in front of that black pot thingy about half way down the inner wing
Sorry pic from camera phone but you can see 2 cut off tubes just below centre of the pic

:shock: wooh there my heads spinning from alcohol. its got two pipes outta the top of it thats all i know. happen i'll leave it there.
