Standard boost on Evo III RS?

As above really! Just wondering what the boost should be peaking at on an 3 RS.

Cheers 8)

I fitted an Apexi boost gauge which not only looks the mutz nutz but also seems pretty spot on. RR Day Sunday so should confirm.

Before I fitted the Dawes Device it was running at standard boost which should be between 0.7 and 0.8bar, After Dawes it is now running 1bar.

If running 0.5bar first thing to check would be the gauge itself. Is it accurate etc? If it is then check for any kinks in pipework etc?

Is it holding steady at 0.5bar or does it fluctuate when your toe is down?

Would suggest checking the gauge first. If you want an accurate reading putting it on the rollers would be the best bet :-)

Should be boosting around the 0.8 bar point, just get a decent boost gauge on it for a reading.

See if a tuner near you has one they can test it on, should do it for next to nothing for you

There are quite a few things to check if you are down on boost and first check would be all the boost pipes and connections. Make sure all pipes are free from obstructions and not squashed. There should be no kinks anywhere and a simple pin prick on a pipe can change it also. Dont cost alot of money so might be an idea to change then for some samco hoses anyway as they are 10 years old now if they are still the originals. What gauge is it?? As stated in above threads this is common aswell but before you go splashing on a gauge check them hoses.
