AYC Light comes on!

Ok...have a bit of a problem on my VI...the AYC light comes on when/after you start the car with the steering wheel straight. But if you start it with the steering wheel slightly turned to the left, everything is fine...as it should be...check light comes on then switches off...take it for a drive an it's fine...Took it hard on corners AYC works... WOuld it be the clock spring inside? Any suggestions? Easy fix or gonna cost me a bomb?

Yea, the car just came back from a specialist (Evo Motorsport), just had the pump fixed. There isn't much evo specialist downhere, it's not like Japan or England...the only thing people knows here is WRXs...
Seems like i'll be going back to the workshop
