Does anyone know if the would be any benifit to using Super unleaded at 99ron over Optimax 98ron? I saw the 99ron at Tesco.

As far as i know mate its cheaper by bout 2-3p a litre.

Some people from the Mlr have tried the Tesco's 99 Ron fuel and found it to be better compared to optimax.

They are ment to be rolling it out around all their uk petrol shops.

We have also been told that Esso are doing test's on their petrol Premium I think it was called and the lowest result was 98.6. But they haven't released any details on this fuel as they are not happy with 98.6 result they want a steady 99 or higher.

I'll give tescos a go see how I get on. Had to fill up with premium on the motorway coming home from santa pod and I'm sure she did'nt sound happy ,Would it have made any difference or is it in my head?

do you mean you put 95ron in??? thats bad if you did :shock:

there is adbsolutely nothing wrong with the TESCOs 99ron stuff

have used it in the MAK on more than a few occassions :shock: :shock: :shock: (price and location of optimax the reasoning) and have suffered (thus far) no problems with it :muhaha: :muhaha: rey:

when the spikey pikey from kent remapped my ecu i was usin the tescos stuff and suffered very very very little knock from it :shock: :shock: :shock: :-) :-)

give it a go im sure you wont be disapointed :muhaha: :muhaha:
