BUZZING NOISE........?

Hi,
i've recently noticed a buzzing noise coming from the left hand side of my dash & i aint got a clue what it is
It only does it now & then & it usually lasts about 5 seconds, on one of my old cars i used to hear a simillar noise but that was the abs checking that everythings in order - but i aint got a clue what it could be on this car as everytime it does it i try & have a listen but by the time i get my head over to the passenger side it's gone

I doubt it's anything serious but i've recently changed my brakes if that rings any bells with anyone??

Any help will be apreciated.

Now then, I don't know about any buzzing, but I've had some squeaks and vibrations from the passenger air bag dashboard cover... Don't know if that helps?

I doubt it's a cover or summat as when it does it - its a propper buzzing sound as if the abs system or circuit of some kind is checking for faults ops:
Deffinatley not a bumble bee, cover of some sort, the ex wife in the boot or anything else like that

I had a word with Mark Shead who said it wouldnt be the ECU as there's nowt in there that would make it buzz.
