I've put my pioneer system in, there was a smallish AV box with that, in my car there was room under the lower DIN space for it.
There's also quite a lot of room under the and behind the transmission tunnel cover, and i've fitted a power transformer just behind the dash to the right of the glovebox which may be a good spot. Give me shout if you need a hand, i've become pretty familiar with fitting this stuff.

I've fitted the CD player under the passenger seat before. Have you thought about dumping it for a ipod though, you can get an interface for about £60 and have 60GB of music available, it's what i'm hoping to do.

Made my job more difficult by fitting my Rockford Fosgate amp & 2 Alpine subs as well. Didnt bother fitting my 12 disc changer as I I have the Pioneer ipod attachment so can play all my tunes off of that |
